Old Town Alexandria and the Museum of American History

Christ Church is an Episcopal church
built from 1767 to 1773.
It was designed by James Wren,
and frequented by
George Washington and Robert E. Lee
and other big names.
FDR and Winston Churchill visited
on January 1, 1942 to commemorate
World Day of Prayer for Peace.
Today, the church has over 2,400 members.
